REQUEST FOR QUOTES – APT BUS STOP PAVEMENT WORK AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

February 16, 2017 – Athens Public Transit (APT) is requesting quotes for pavement work and installation of shelters, benches and signage at selected APT bus stops. Equipment to be installed will be provided by APT.

  • Quotes are due by 4pm Friday, March 10, 2017.
  • A cover document with statement of work, pavement specifications, and equipment installation instructions is linked below.

    REQUEST FOR QUOTES – APT BUS SHELTER AND STREET FURNITURE PROJECT

    November 2nd, 2016 – Athens Public Transit is requesting quotes for supply of transit shelters, benches, and trash receptacles.

    • Quantities are 6 units of each; up to an additional three may be purchased and the project budget raised pending an agreement negotiated with another local government.
    • Installation will be separate from this project.
    • Vendors may bid on any or all of the three equipment categories.
    • Quotes are due by COB Monday, November 14th.

    REQUEST FOR QUOTES – APT BUS SHELTER PROJECT

    October 22, 2014 – The City of Athens and Athens Public Transit (APT) are seeking quotations for purchase and renovation of bus shelters through the Federal Transit Administration’s State of Good Repair program as awarded by the Ohio Department of Transportation, Office of Transit. Six (6) new shelters are being sought, as well as glazing for one (1) existing shelter.  Vendors/contractors may submit a quote for subproject or combination of subprojects listed in the Quote Request Cover Document.

    Quotes from interested parties must be received no later than end of business November 1, 2014. Successful parties must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

    NOTICE TO VENDORS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROVISION OF AN AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LOCATION INFORMATION SYSTEM

    July 17, 2014 – Athens Public Transit (APT) seeks proposals for an automatic vehicle location (AVL) passenger and administrative information system. Copies of the RFP document can be obtained by contacting Michael Lachman at 740-767-1079 or lachman@hapcap.org. Vendors may also download the document at athenstransit.org/procurement, but must register via email with Mr. Lachman in order submit a proposal and receive relevant correspondence. The deadline for receipt of proposals is August 15, 2014. One original signature copy and two (2) copies of Vendor’s Technical and Cost Proposal should be placed in a sealed envelope/package labeled “AVL/Passenger Bus Tracking System” and sent to: Attn: Transportation Services Manager Athens Public Transit 1015 East State Street Athens, Ohio 45701 The project is funded by a federal Section 5311 Rural Transit Program Capital Grant and is subject to the rules, regulations and requirements thereof. APT retains the right to reject any or all proposals and to withdraw this solicitation at any time. Proposals from entities that are debarred, suspended or proposed for debarment by the federal government will be disqualified. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this request. APT will ensure that respondents to this request will not be discriminated against based on race, sex, color, creed or national origin in consideration of an award.
